I love riding escalators that are out in the open air. It feels like enjoying a ride that isn’t frightening at all. A day so warm you’d believe it if someone told you it was spring. I buy some oil pastels and try drawing a little. The angle of the crayon against the paper, the pressure — it’s harder than I expected. But this feeling of being connected to my body through my hands — I think that’s exactly what I need right now.
